INCOMING TRANSFERS

Triton Arms facilitates transfers of incoming firearms for our customers who are US Citizens with a valid Picture (Government Issued) ID, Arizona Drivers License and/or proof of Arizona residency. We can also transfer LONG GUNS to most states, please call for more information.

FEES
Firearms and Lower Receivers - $35 per unit

Receiving your transfer from your FFL Dealer - The shipping dealer MUST enclose a copy of their FFL along with an invoice or packing slip indicating the purchaser’s name, phone number and firearm details, including the serial number (s).

Please NOTE: before we can accept an FFL transfer from another dealer we must send that dealer a copy of our FFL.

Buyer/receiver of firearm being transferred – Federal law requires that a firearms transaction form 4473 be completed and the buyer/receiver must present current identification and, if applicable, permit to purchase. We will verify the background check and, upon successful completion, transfer the firearm to the new owner.

OUTGOING TRANSFERS

Triton Arms facilitates transfers of outgoing firearms for our customers who have purchased Triton Arms products to another FFL Dealer at no additional cost. Non Triton Arms purchased products to be shipped out will be charged the same as incoming firearms above.

Triton Arms, under certain circumstances, will facilitate transfer between two individuals. This is when a person is selling a firearm to another and both parties want to ensure the transaction is conducted legally.

FEES
Firearms and Lower Receivers - $45 per unit.

Seller/owner of firearm being transferred – will bring the firearm in to be transferred and their identification. We will receive the gun from them and log it into our books and provide a receipt showing it has been removed from their name.

Buyer/receiver of firearm being transferred – Federal law requires that a firearms transaction form 4473 be completed and the buyer/receiver must present current identification and, if applicable, permit to purchase. We will verify the background check and, upon successful completion, transfer the firearm to the new owner.

NFA, CLASS 3 TRANSFERS

Triton Arms offers NFA Transfers (National Firearms Act of 1934) / Title II / Class 3 type transfers from NFA Dealers, Manufacturers and Distributors. Triton Arms will assist you in completing all the paperwork for the NFA Item. Triton Arms NFA Fee is $200 per application, plus applicable federal, city and state fees. Your NFA item will be secured with us while your paperwork is processed which can take as much as six (6) to eight (8) months to complete.

TRITON ARMS TRANSFER POLICIES

You must notify us before you initiate a transfer, and complete a Triton Arms Firearms Transfer Form. Firearms received without the proper transfer order in place, and/or with out the transferring dealers FFL will be delayed and/or returned at the buyer/receivers expense. Remember we must send your transferring Dealer our FFL before they ship as well. Triton Arms dose not provide copies of our FFL to customers, it must be sent directly to the FFL Dealer.

Buyer/receiver pays all shipping and transaction fees associated with the transaction.

ash is the only form of payment we accept for FFL transfers of firearms and lower receivers. For NFA transfers a check or credit card may be accepted. Payment is due prior to transfer and is non refundable regardless of buyer/receivers completion of the transfer or negative transfer result from the ATF (delay or decline on the background check).

Firearms shipped to Triton Arms are not available for pickup until our staff contacts you. Confirmation of shipment by the carrier doesn’t imply we have received or recorded the firearm and that the firearm is ready for pick up.

Triton Arms FFL Transfer Service is a “service” fee only and Triton Arms is not responsible or liability to the condition of the item, delivery time or transfer results.

Please be aware that we are required by law to confiscate any firearm that is presented to us for transfer that in unlawful.

Sellers/owner’s of firearms who are transferring to individuals should be aware that if the transfer is not complete that the seller/owner (you) of the firearm (s) will be required by Federal law to complete a firearms transaction form 4473 (just the same as being a “new owner”) to have the firearm returned.

Buyer / Receiver Acknowledge / agree to retrieve the items (s) for transfer within 30 days of receipt. Items left longer than 30 days will be charged $10 per day storage fees for a maximum of 30 days, unless prior arrangements have been made with Triton Arms in writing. After which your item will be forfeited to be sold to recover losses incurred by Triton Arms for not receiving payment pursuant to ARS 33-981.
